Seasonal Calendar
Niagra Falls Park needs to create a calendar for their seasonal attractions so that it can acquire more visitors and let people know what is available in the park within each season.
My role in creating the seasonal calendar for Niagra Falls Park was to take my own photography and describe their seasonal attractions. I was able to use typography and photography to create a poster that they will be able to give out to people in the Niagra Falls area and people visiting. Through the process, I did a lot of research on the attractions in Niagra Falls during each of their seasons and worked on my typography skills.
Design Process
Research
For the research process, I made sure I understood the target audience as well as research all of the different attractions they offer during each of their seasons.
Sketches
I sketched out a few different placements and hierarchies for the information and image.
Testing out fonts/color scheme
Typefaces were tested that looked best with their original font style that was easy to read on top of the photograph. For the color scheme, colors were tested that looked best with the colors involved in the image.
Compositions with feedback
Different compositions were created with different designs and colors for each calendar. Each design had the same information but had different hierarchies and design aspects. After getting feedback on my comps, I continued to improve the design of the type and placements.

Focus on perfecting the chosen designs
The type and designs were cleaned up and were ready to be used and printed.
Create mockups
I created mockups so that the company could see how the poster would look when it was printed.
